Registration for Photonics North 2026 is now open!

Rates are listed in CAD and do not include applicable Quebec taxes. In Quebec, the sales tax system involves two separate taxes: the federal Goods and 5% Services Tax (GST) and the provincial 9.975% Quebec Sales Tax (QST). Taxes will be added to the final total.

Payment methods

Payment of registration fees (in Canadian dollars) can be made as follows:

By Interac Transfer (from a Canadian bank)

Use the email address [email protected] to proceed with the transfer. Next, please make sure to send an email to this email address providing your name, the name of the conference, the amount paid, and the recovery code (password).

Registration will only be valid upon receipt of the full payment by Agora Events according to the deadline dates. You will receive an e-mail confirmation following receipt of the payment. Bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and should be paid at the source in addition to the registration fees.

For bank transfers outside of Canada

When paying by Bank transfer, please note that currency exchange charges or bank collection fees are not included in the total cost and are to your charge. The payment of your registration or sponsorship can be paid directly with the following information:

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Any cancellation of registration must be sent in writing to [email protected] and will be subject to the following conditions: 

  • A refund of registration fees will be made to any registered participant who cancels on or before April 1, 2026, less a 75 $ CA administration fee.

  • No refund will be made if cancellation requests are received after April 1, 2026.

  • There will be no administration fee for a delegate name substitution.

How do I change the name on my registration?

If you wish to change the name on a registration, please send an email to [email protected] for assistance.

How do I cancel my registration?

How do I get my letter of invitation?

For all travellers needing a Visa to travel to Canada, the Committee will provide an invitation letter. To receive your Invitation letter, you must register and fill the required information. After receiving the full payment of your registration, we will forward you a copy of the letter, including the special event code you will need to apply.

  • This letter will not automatically grant you a Visa.
  • This letter will only help to facilitate the application process.
  • Your application will need to go through the same scrutiny as any application.
  • If your work or research studies do not directly link you to the subject of this conference, you have a 99% chance that the Visa will be declined.

You can request an invitation letter during the registration process. Once your registration fee has been paid, we will automatically provide you with an invitation letter, including the official IRCC conference code.

IMPORTANT : Please note that no invitation letter for visa application will be sent without the full registration payment received.
